CONFIDENTIALITY
INTEGRITY
AVAILABILITY
In Cybersecurity, we are trained to understand the C.I.A. triad: Confidentiality (ensuring that all data and information is protected at all times), Integrity (making sure information remains unchanged and unaltered), and Availability (ensuring that information is accessible whenever needed).
The ‘CIA’ of my past was a label placed on others, one many wore with shame. It echoed mistakes, poor decisions, and moments best forgetten. There were times when I compromised trust, blurred boundaries, and allowed fear and poor judgment to guide my actions. That ‘CIA’—FBI, DEA—was a heavy weight, a constant reminder of the pain I caused myself and others.
But growth isn’t about erasing the past; it’s about learning from it. It’s about recognizing the impact of our choices and choosing a better path. And that’s exactly what I’ve done. Today, I embrace a new CIA: Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. It’s more than just a shift in words; it’s a transformation in who I am.
This new CIA isn’t about secrets or whispers. It’s about building trust, earning respect, and being someone others can rely on. It’s about honoring commitments, acting with honesty, and protecting sensitive information. It’s about upholding ethical principles and being present and supportive for those in my life.
This evolution hasn’t been easy. It’s taken self-reflection, accountability, and a willingness to make amends. But the journey has been worth it. This new CIA—the CIA of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability—forms the foundation of my present and the promise of my future. It’s a symbol of the person I strive to be, defined not by past mistakes, but by the character I hold today.

A message from our ceo
My life has been a journey of overcoming adversity and finding strength in the face of challenges. From ages 5 to 11, I was in foster care, where I learned resilience and the importance of self-reliance. At 17, I faced a significant life challenge that led to my incarceration. Despite the circumstances, I was determined not to let my situation define my future. During my 16 years in prison, I discovered a deep love for technology and education, which became my beacon of hope and a path to self-improvement.
From foster care and incarceration to becoming an IT professional, my story is a testament to resilience, dedication, and passion for technology. I am committed to using my skills and experiences to make a positive impact in the IT industry while continuing to grow personally and professionally. I hope to inspire others who have faced adversity, showing them that with hard work and dedication, they can achieve anything.
At Cybershield Innovations, we do more than protect sensitive information. We foster reliability and honor our commitments while empowering individuals to embrace change and learn from the past. With a focus on self-reflection and accountability, we strive to be a source of support, honesty, and trust for everyone we engage with. Join us as we build a future grounded in strong character and mutual respect.
